Despite recent setbacks, Google seems to be charging ahead with Project Wing, its drone-based delivery service. A new video by Aaref Hilaly of Sequoia Capital shows one of the Google X initiative’s drones dropping off a package and flying off:

Hilaly says that Google promises the drones can travel five miles in five minutes.

Google X launched Project Wing last summer, mirroring Amazon’s own drone delivery efforts from months earlier.
