Cloud-based convoys may just be the future of trucking. Peloton Technology, Menlo Park, Calif., hosted a demonstration in Nevada earlier this month of a unique technology it has developed to allow two trucks to ride closer together than would otherwise be safe. The company calls the technology a “platooning system.”
