New Less than Container Load Ocean Freight Service from Established NVOCC’s

599463426_7056NVOCC CaroTrans which provides FCL and cargo consolidation services, has announced it is commencing a new LCL service from Montreal to Le Havre, France with a 14 day transit time. The company says goods can originate from as far west as Vancouver due to the multiple container freight stations it utilises throughout Canada. The areas in and around Montreal, and across the whole Quebec province, are of course French speaking regions with close, historical ties to that country, which account for the robust intercontinental trade between the two.

Freight management at origin and destination for the new service is supported by a team including Odyssey, another NVOCC and an established CaroTrans partner in Canada with whom it has had a close cooperation for over five years, and CaroTrans’ own dedicated Le Havre office. Greg Howard, CEO of CaroTrans said:

“Through expansion of our global service network, we’re adding cost effective, direct service options for customers. Direct services eliminate transhipment costs and provide greater reliability because there are less handling and freight moves. Trusted partnerships are important in our business, that’s why we team up with Odyssey, a first class provider, for services and support between Europe, South America, Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean.”
