Jaimey Malone is happy to be working with his old boss again.

Malone, formerly vice president of sales at USA Truck Inc. of Van Buren, is in his second month as vice president of development at Earl L. Henderson Trucking of Caseyville, Illinois.

If that company sounds familiar, it might be because that is where former USA Truck CEO and CFO (twice) Cliff Beckham landed as president and COO after he resigned from USA Truck in September 2014.

Beckham and Malone worked together for nearly a decade and suffered through USA Truck’s dark period of five consecutive years of annual losses. USA Truck finally reached the black again in 2014.

“Cliff and I, we’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly,” Malone said.

Henderson Trucking recently purchased Tennant Truck Lines in Colona, Illinois, and the two companies operate under the new umbrella name of Trekker Logistics, which will operate out of Caseyville.
