Chris Burruss resigns as president of Truckload Carriers Association

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Citing personal reasons, Chris Burruss on Thursday resigned as president of the Truckload Carriers Association.

“I am writing to inform you that Chris Burruss resigned from his position as TCA’s president for personal reasons this morning,” TCA Chairman Shepard Dunn said in an e-mail to TCA members sent early Thursday afternoon. “TCA’s officers are in the process of assembling a search taskforce to find a replacement. In the interim, Executive Vice President William Giroux and Vice President Debbie Sparks will be managing the organization’s day-to-day operations.”
