Celadon Names Executives to New Appointments

Celadon Group Inc. announced several promotions within to its senior management team. The changes, which are effective immediately.

Danny Williams has been promoted to chief operating officer for Celadon’s Quality Companies, from vice president of that unit. He joined Celadon in June 2006 as a financial analyst.

Celadon also announced the creation of four new division president posts within in its Celadon Trucking unit.

Lauren Howard was named president of truckload operations for Celadon, encompassing all U.S.domestic operations focused on dry van freight, including local and dedicated as well as expedited operations, terminal operations and customer service. Howard was most recently vice president of customer service.

George Chasteen is president of international business, which includes all operations associated with Jaguar, Celadon’s Mexican subsidiary, and Hyndman, Celadon’s Canadian subsidiary. Chasteen was most recently vice president of the Mexico unit.
