The International Automobile Exhibition IAA is the world’s most important trade fair for mobility, transport and logistics. When she first took place in 1897, just 8 motor cars were presented. Since that time, the fair is so grown that the organizers were forced to devide the fair. Therefore since 1991 exist the IAA Commercial Vehicles, which always takes place in the even years in Hanover, and the IAA Cars, which takes place in odd years in Frankfurt. The IAA Commercial Vehicles shows vehicles, equipment and systems of freight and passenger transport and is open to both trade visitors and the general public. It is the ideal platform for exhibitors and professional visitors to initiate business and conclude contracts. With the IAA Commercial Vehicles technological trends are set. Trucks are leading in environmental technology and are constantly evolving in the direction of alternative drive systems. But also aerodynamics, safety, lightweight and long trucks are important topics of the exhibition. The range is supplemented by numerous innovations of the supplier and the trailer manufacturers.
