Dear Colleagues:
On behalf of the American Trucking Associations’ Safety Management Council and Supply Chain Security & Loss Prevention Council, we would like to invite you to attend the 2015 Steering Meeting, April 1 – 3, at the Holiday Inn Ballston, Arlington, VA.
As you recall, all committees and most working groups meet during the Safety Management Council and Supply Chain Security & Loss Prevention Council’s annual Steering Meeting. Because many of these committees and working groups will not meet during the 2015 Safety, Security & Human Resources National Conference & Exhibition in Little Rock, AR, this may be the only opportunity that members will have to participate in committee and working group discussions and face-to-face decision-making.
Whether or not you are a committee or working group member, we encourage every SMC and SCS&LPC member to attend this important meeting. Your councils thrive when members are engaged and providing input on association and policy matters.
The Arlington location is ideally suited to ensuring attendance from American Trucking Associations’ staff and locally based regulatory personnel. As a bonus, the meeting falls during the annual Cherry Blossom Festival (though a guarantee on peak blooms cannot be made yet), presenting a terrific opportunity to bring your spouse and children.
This year’s meeting promises to provide even more networking opportunities, as we’re bringing both the Safety Management Council and the Supply Chain Security & Loss Prevention Council under one roof, at the same time for their annual Steering Meetings. Won’t you join your colleagues and friends this year in Arlington for productive discussion, decision-making and networking?
We look forward to welcoming you to Arlington in April!
