Trucking has faced many obstacles over the last decade; CARB, Piece Rate, PAGA, ELD, the continued onslaught of over-regulation… Thanks to the foresight of previous CTA leadership we have overcome or minimized many of those obstacles and we must maintain our efforts on those fronts but, the future holds a new direction for the industry. There are many opportunities, challenges, and decisions to make. The question is where we go from here; as an Industry, an association, a business, individually/personally. As a CTA member, we are informed and kept at the forefront of issues and technology. We are in the know of what the predictable future holds. We have the power to influence, shape and create our industry.
